Very cozy and welcoming restaurant. We arrived without a reservation on a very wet evening. The restaurant was full but they found us a table and could not have been more friendly. Excellent meal. We’ll be back.
Top-notch experience. The food is mouthwatering, the place is cozy and authentic and the service is extraordinary. The waitress was on top of her game, she paid attention to the smallest details, chapeau bas. Highly recommended.
I visited the restaurant in November 1980 with my wife on the way back to work in Tripoli. We had a fabulous meal with most charming staff. We were two of a few people there so our waiter asked if we would like ‘seconds’ to which we readily agreed. A truly unforgettable meal and thrilled that it appears still to be open over 40 years later!!
An excellent location, a charming, traditional atmosphere, and a great vibe. The food and service are on the same high level. It’s become one of my go-to places when visiting Zürich. You definitely need to make a reservation in advance though.
Our dining experience here was magical. It had amazing Christmas decor, amazing service and amazing food. Would recommend to anyone looking for an amazing dining experience!
Very nice and friendly staff. Thejcocktails were well mixed with a good twist onjthe classics, in some cases with local spirits. The food was no doubt delicious. They claim to have the best Züri Gschnetzlet's in town and so far I can't say they are wrong. The chocolate cke as a dessert was the perfect finish for a nice meal. All in all a bit pricey but the quality of the food is worth the price.
Only downside was the outdoor seating. Luckily we were early enough so we were not right next to the street with cars and public transport but even the pedestrian side is quite busy. Not enough of a downside though to take away a star. Looking forward to coming back and see the inside seating.
Excellent location. Super friendly service. Like the chop. Ice creams not the best. Small wine list with some OK wines but naughty pricing. Love the dining room over 700 years old. No frills OK dining with friendly attentive service. Please improve your ice cream making skills. Add a little vegtable glycerine to the sorbet this helps and a pinch of salt both reduce crystalisation and enhance the flavor (the salt).
Flawless experience. The food was incredible, the staff was very friendly, and the view is stunning.
